All by my self, dont wanna be....
Josh is out of town with his dad for the weekend in So. California installing cabinets for his uncle. This is pretty much the first time we have been apart since getting married. There was one night I was away in the very beginning, but I was back by like noon the next day. This is 4 days and three nights alone. I don't know what to do with myself! Last night for dinner I ate popcorn with tons of butter and then stayed up totally late because I didn't want to go to bed alone. {It was a sorry sight. I watched everything from Grey's Anatomy (which I hate now) to Running in Heels to Ace of Cakes.} But when I finally did go to bed- it was amazing (sorry honey- i love you!) having the whole bed to myself for the first time in a year! No snoring, no elbows to the head, no hot flashes because of Josh's intense body heat. I just spread all legs and arms to the four corners of the bed and drank it all in. I only woke up ONCE to use the bathroom. It was pretty much amazing. Not that I don't miss him intensely and want him to come home. But I think I can deal with him being away for a couple of more days just so I can have that bed to myself (is that bad?). Besides he is not working, he's going golfing, hanging out with his best friends and family and getting to eat Pink Berry- best thing in the world! Here's a picture he sent to me yesterday to torture me with thoughts of Pink Berry. I don't feel too sorry for him :)

Happy Friday the 13th!
I could not be happier it's Friday. I feel like it's been a long week and I need some R&R. My sister-in-law Jylare is coming to stay with us for the weekend because she is doing photos for a wedding in Oakland, so we are looking forward to getting to spend some time with her :) It's going to be 70 degrees and sunshiny and I can't wait!

Weight Loss Weeks 5, 6 & 7
So the weekly update on my weight loss was getting tedious for me- let alone other people who read this blog besides my mom :) So I am lumping the last 3 weeks into one and saying that I'm -3 and holding. Hopefully this half-marathon training will boost the weight loss a little more since I am running much farther than I usually do. 2 Saturday's ago, we started our long run program- with only 2 long run Saturday's under my belt I am still feeling pretty good! They were 5 and 6 miles consecutively. The first Saturday doing 5 miles I was soooo sore the rest of the day and next day. But this past Saturday doing 6- I felt awesome and could have kept going, but didn't want to push my body too much. It felt so great to push my body that far and see that I could handle it! So now I am up to doing 4 miles 3x a week, plus cross training on the stationary bike 1-2x a week then long run on Saturdays. I feel like this half marathon goal is actually achievable- and I am super excited to run it now! I might feel differently when I have to run 10 miles on the Saturday before the race... and then 13.1 miles... well let's just focus on the positive for today!
