Valentines Day

This was the best Valentines Day I have ever had- I know that's a huge statement, but it really was. I spent all week trying to figure out what I was going to do for Josh. My good friend Bone Junior (see my side bar for her link) helped me come up with this idea. I think it came out pretty darn cute.

In case you can't tell what it is :) It's a box filled with 100 reasons I love Josh and Riesen's candy. I covered the box with pictures of us and felt all crafty and accomplished! There really are 100 reasons in there- and let me tell you, it was pretty challenging to come up with 100 reasons that are not repetitive. But I did it and was proud! Then I came home on friday night to this :

Plus Josh had made me a delicious dinner and bought my favorite ice cream- is he great or what? Then we watched The Office on our own TV and fast forwarded through commercials- it may seem a trivial thing to those of you who have never gone without TV, but it pretty much topped off our Valentines Day Eve.

Then in the morning I made yummy breakfast and Josh surprised me again with these!

They are pictures from Ikea that I loved when we were there the other day. Josh totally remembered and went back to buy them and frame them for me. They have all sorts of French desserts written across each picture and are perfect for our kitchen. Then later we went out for dinner to our favorite Sushi place. It was really a Valentines Weekend Extravaganza if you will- not just one day. It was so great and I really do believe that I married the best man and the most perfect man for me.

That is SO great that he took note of something you liked and then followed through! Yep, that's the sign of a good catch! Cute box, too- did you make it?? I did something like that for Adam when we were dating, and it was hard to think of 100 DIFFERENT things- and then wrap them around Hersey's kisses. The "Reisens" are a great idea! Happy heart day!

Happy Valentines Day! It does sound perfect. But maybe not as perfect as playing rock band with your husband and 3 children:) So romantic!

The box is adorable Gee. I'm so tickled to see you acquire these craft skills. It's exactly what happened to me. You just kind of get it as you go along. I'm so happy you have the perfect man for you. Love you, Mommy
